DAO is still the best in the series. Yeah DAI is best in graphics out of the 3 but Origin is still best overall. EA better deliver well on DA4.

Hey all, registered here as well. Kinda sad what happened in the previous forum but what can you do... hopefully nothing like that happens in here. Also, I'm happy to say, our country (Estonia) celebrates 26th anniversary of our re-independence day today.

@karl_Est Welcome Karl and congratulations on your country's 26th anniversary RuneThanks man, hope we can make it even better with time fvckbringerYogenshaThere are two differences between old and new Bioware leading to their demise, first the old Bioware didn't had SJW crap mindset; making bold, beautiful and memorable characters while new Bioware is just running behind the SJW drama that's beginning to plague the game industry, their creativity and freedom of art is gone. Second old Bioware knew how to write impact full stories that leave a strong impression on you even when you stop playing the game, there was a common issue in both DAI and MAE, I started and it felt so good because of better graphics, new characters, new universe and such but over time the interest started to drop, most of the time their game's duration is increased by putting useless quests like go to point A pick something up then go to point B and drop it or go to 5 points and destroy a same looking enemy, you end up feeling like an errand boy rather than a hero. Both of those games were made by new Bioware and they failed to leave an impression (at least on me). All Witcher games were extremely successful because they were not flawed by these issues. I don't think EA can do much here, it's Bioware's own fault and only they can fix it if they want.

Hey guys, I'm not much for introductions, but let me just say that I'm currently back into modding Tekken 7. I hope to help out anyone who needs advice when it comes modding Tekken, even though I'm not particularly skilled at certain aspects of modding (say Texture Modding).
I also do DOA5 model edits and mods, so expect me to frequent both forums. Anyways, I hope you guys are doing great today. Greetz from South California.

I remember when people said Witcher was a sexist game 'cause there were too many 'sexyfied' girls, tho, all sorceress uses magic to up themselves in this universe, they didn't care. All while saying DAI was a fair game that played right 'cause it had 'normal woman design'. I said their design was awful, Sera while crazy lil' merry go around, is ugly af, all your qunaries are ugly, unless you use some mods, tho there are good looking qunaries in the universe, just read some of the comics about it, and there you go. They even made Leliana and Casandra 'ugly', to me, that's just lazy and bad design, not fair nor right.
While CDproject do abuse of sexy woman, seeing how even farmer girls have a default nice design, at least is nice and I don't think it's sexist to have gorgeous woman, nor handsome man. Damn, it's a game, why prison ourselves with 'reality' in a fantasy setting of a fantasy game based on a fantasy fiction book? I'll never understand. - But we do get pointless missions in Witcher III, like, hell, we're crazy out of time looking for Ciri, but then we get a fist fight bet, then a gwent tournment, then we have to find and guide a goat, at least is not as random as in DAI, where you have to go after a buffalo or a demon possessed elk, reindeer, don't remember what animal it was, only to get a few exp so you don't get owned in some areas or against some dragon, though they're not that tough unless played in nightmare mode.

fvckbringer DA2 and DAI female designs are mostly awful, better graphics or not, romance options in Bioware games got worse. Games dont need to be "realistic" or "inclusive", its a fantasy world, not bound by IRL conventions, why force or limit yourselves to appeal to a tiny demographic that mostly doesnt even play your game? Pretty characters just are more appealing to most people, thats just how it is. You dont always have to follow mass appeal, but when your characters are less than they were before, thats a red flag. And you know you fucked up as an artist, when your female characters look uglier than the average person of that gender and age.

BrutalAce I think both Bioware and EA are at fault. Actually most AAA game developers nowadays are heavily influenced by publishers. Publishers care more about the money than the game itself so most great features make the cost higher or broken down into little parts. Microtransaction, it's a plague. SJWs, I hope they choke on their "righteousness". Female characters are supposed to be visually appealing. Using the word sexualization just makes it seem indecent. Just look at SF and KOF, the female cast is composed of beautiful looking and sexy women. They were created before these SJWs even existed. Damn, even Mai Shiranui's 2D boob physics were created before all of these 3D physics of today. She's meant to look distracting. These people just cant take it. microknightmare Welcome and have fun! robhal The game was crap anyway. LOL

SensaigaWell bro, I don't play the game too anyway BrutalAceSensaigafvckbringerYogenshaI like beautiful and sexy woman as well but in the same time sometime woman that doesn't have "perfect criteria" (like Ciri with her facial scar) is sexy too. So those SJWs can all go to h***

Mass Effect and BioWare games in general are some of my all time favorites (Baldur's Gate specifically), sad to see them give up this franchise. They already said Andromeda gave them a good profit and you shouldn't just give it up that easily. For example I don't think Dragon Age 2 was very well received even if I happened to think it wasn't that bad they got back and made Dragon Age 3 which was good for them.

FirkraagDA2 wasnt well received because it didnt surpass the first game in many aspects. Many loved DAO so players were expecting a lot. DA2 isnt really a bad game IMO but it lacks a whole lot of things compared to the first game. Great graphics but lacking in spirit. That's what I hate about new games these days. Everything looks good but it feels empty and lifeless. The only games that came out this year that I can consider good are the fighting games. Other genres are just.. meh.

I really don't know if I should be sad or relieved that they won't be patching the story anymore. On one side, it means all those bugs that weren't fixed to now, the shitty facial animations and weird fps drop out of anywhere won't be ever solved, on the other bright side, I won't have anymore more corrupt save and will be able to play properly from now on, hopefully.
And really, Andromeda is a meh game, I didn't think it was beautiful and it was promoted to be, the plotline are pretty linear and very cliched in a non very good way - it's not innovative and doesn't really add much to the franchise as whole, seeing how the Shepard is/might be over. And tbh, I think that it's the multiplayer that's keeping the game alive 'till now, though I myself don't played, it's pretty good when you don't have trolls and suiciders on your team. - DA2 is a nice game, though too simple and too lazy in general. It has the best gameplay imo, we can pre program how the party will act in any kind of way and change it at any time even during battle, I loved that. But DAO was richer in any other aspect, though it didn't offer much graphically, you could what it was suppose to look, at least. - About the designs, DA2 still has good female one, like default Hawke is beautiful, as is Bethany. Cassandra doesn't look bad nor Aveline, Leliana's still ok, Isabella is a bit weird, but way better than in DAO, the same with Flemeth. The thing is, the whole lore about elves has it that the girls they are beautiful, but you won't find any that is at least good looking. Fenris is okayish at best, and he's male, the lore gives a lot of importance of the beauty of the female elves, and we don't find any. In DAI, godforbid, Fiona is horrible, while in the books she was supposed to be at least very good looking and she doesn't age normally, so it can't be used as excused that she's an old woman. You can only say Cassandra is female because of the walk animation that has all females walk a bit different than males, Leliana is the only okayish as far as the female cast goes. Josie is not that bad, but isn't good enough either, specially if you saw the earlier concepts for the characters. Even default Hawke is terrible.
That being said, young Cassandra is beautiful af in Dawn of The Seeker, granted, it was about 20y ago from DA2 and DAI, but from that you can say how the design team didn't do well with their work. And they had the gall to say that it was because they couldn't get the female hair work right with armor/helmet. Yea, right... - Ranting and ravings, sorry for the big post.
