Horray for FFXV (maybe it'll be easier to extract the models now) But now you've triggered my bioware rant lol.

I remember a lot of people hated on DA2 and it definitely has issues but I modded the hell out of that game and had a really good time with it. Combat system was really good in that one. I have some sympathy if you were stuck with the console version (though the DAs play a lot better on PC across the board). 

In terms of the ladies of Dragon Age.... they're mostly fine but some of the hairstyles in those games were just AWFUL. Bleh.  Except for Isabella, who was my bae. 

Andromeda I can't say I'm surprised about. A lot of bad press, and it just felt not-done on launch,  the plot felt like a lazy, cliched mash up of the other games, don't even get me started. And the thing about these big art productions is when somebody higher up the chain makes a big creative choice early and it doesn't work you're basically doomed from the start. The kotaku piece about it is a really good read.

In general I think they doubled down on trying to make the game feel bigger and more open world and just ended up creating a lot of tedious filler that was not fun.  ME2 works so well because there's way less filler missions, I wish they had kept going in that direction.

That's exactly my opinion too, the entire SJW crap needs to die and games should go back to the point where artist was in charge and had nothing to fear about. The formula worked perfectly for years, don't know why they are trying to change it now and it's not succeeding from any angle, just ruining the games.

We can expect everything from Square Enix to be ported to PC because of Unreal Engine. I already expected this for FFXV. They prioritize PS of course and will just port to PC after they meet a certain amount of sales from PS. Dont expect much on graphics settings/options to be extensive. Square Enix usually dont give effort on this aspect much so PC users need to be ready for demanding specs.

According to Nvidia, you gonna need a Core i7 CPU + GTX 1080 Ti + 4K monitor to maximize your experience to play FF XV in PC, and ofc those things aren't cheap. Let just hope the minimum system requirement is not too insane and can produce atleast PS4 graphics like quality with it.

I'm not too concerned, I mean, running a game at everything ultra is quite useless if you have a 4k monitor, I myself tweak almost all games and it runs everything with average of 50fps, my 'machine' is i7 + 970GT. If the game is ported well, well optimized, it runs smoothly like Wither 3 with most of the settings in ultra and using mods that enhance even more the textures. I don't think there's a lot to lose without ambient oclusion in ultra, and with 4k, you don't even need the textures to be ultra either, there's difference, but it's minimal in most games.

Though FFXV HDR function on ps4 is quite brutal, if you disable this, you won't even be able to see some characters in the screen in some stances. My cousin was mad crazy about 'cause it'd only run 'well enough' on the ps4 pro with HDR on, and he doesn't own one, so...

FighterZ looks awesome, i know that people are iffy on SSB Goku and SSB Vegeta being their own character, but this being ArcSystem, im sure they can differentiate them enough.
The only thing im miffed about is that there is no way to play 1v1, id like to at least have the option. And seems they changed the beta access from signup to preorder?

edit: nevermind you can still sign up for the beta, its just guaranteed and earlier access.

Thanks for the msg, guys! Glad everyone else felt the same way I did about that place. Even without knowing this was in the works, I was not about to continue posting my mods to a place run by that idiot. I may start posting my stuff on dA more this time around, but I'm glad everyone made the move here so that we still have a place to share knowledge and stuff.

Indeed, imo it's even better than the actual anime itself. About SSB Goku and Vegeta, it is hinted "that SSB Goku is faster yet harder to control than his other variation. Meanwhile, SSB Vegeta has increased offensive capabilities in return for less defense" (source: EventHubs). That's the same issue with SFxT or any tag team focused fighting games, there is no way to play 1vs1, hope DBFZ give us that option.
